Zero delay video distribution
Most "live" video distributed over the web has between a 10 to 20 second encoding process. This means from the time something happens at a live event to the time a person sees it on their computer, 10 to 20 seconds have passed. Reach-in has developed an integrated hardware/software solution that gives you the ability to see, and control, machinery over the internet; in less than 400 milliseconds.
Not only do we have near zero video delay, we also allow internet users to physically control objects (actual devices) inside a room they are seeing with a simple keystroke. This provides a link between the digital and physical worlds by enabling anyone to look inside the room and control physical devices from their computers. The value is complete control of cameras as well as the ability to move mechanical objects in real time. Similar methods of remotely controlling devices require costly installation of point-to-point dark fiber and are limited to very specific uses. Our technology allows [non application dedicated] remote control of machinery over the unconditioned internet using just standard TCP/IP with no static IP's needed; and our approach requires no downloads, no software, no special hardware, and runs directly “in browser”. For an in-depth view of this technology view the content of our gallery page.
One of our products, called iPetCompanion, allows people to physically interact with animals in humane societies across the country and has reached over 12MM animal lovers around the globe and has increased adoption rates as much as 60% for many shelters.
